WanderWell Therapy, mental health in nature.

Get accessible and personalized mental healthcare in nature or from the comfort of your home.

Our approach

At WanderWell Therapy, we offer Walk & Talk sessions that take place outdoors, giving you space to breathe, move, and talk through what’s on your mind. Many people find it easier to open up while walking side-by-side rather than sitting in a room. Together, we look at the patterns in your life, make sense of your story, and find practical ways to handle what you’re facing. As therapy continues, you may notice more clarity, confidence, and calm in your everyday life. Our goal is to help you feel grounded, supported, and connected to yourself again — all while surrounded by the healing rhythms of nature.

Providing you with a safe space to heal

At WanderWell Therapy, our “office” isn’t limited to four walls. We meet on local walking paths and in nature preserves, where fresh air and movement can make it easier to talk and breathe. Some sessions look like walking side-by-side through quiet trails; others may include pausing by the water when something heavy comes up. Being outdoors creates space to think, reflect, and feel supported in a calmer, more natural way.

Here are a few of our favorite places to walk and talk through out the Twin Cities. If you have a location you love, let us know, we’re always open to new paths.

In-person and remote options

In addition to Walk & Talk sessions, we also offer telehealth appointments. These can be especially helpful for first visits, busy schedules, or days when the weather isn’t cooperating. No matter where you are, you’ll still have access to support and care that feels consistent and comfortable. Our goal is to make therapy fit into your life, not the other way around.
